GRC: Rome: Total War

Now!! Dis is ME alright!! Hahaha.. no more strange stuff now.. hahaha

"So why not I post something that's useful right? I looooooooveee computer games. Some people said that computer games just for relaxing, some choose shoot-em-up style to release anger inside, and some don't like to buy at all, afraid it's not good. Hahaha.. Me?

I'm crazy about games. Don't care at all good or bad. I'll try 'em all if I had the money. No, really. But one thing for sure, sometimes, I got problems searching through the net looking for game cheats. Plus, for guy that afraid that this or that game may not be good, you can consider my review.

Plus, I give cheats that I used so it would be the most useful. I think. WARNING: cheats can make your game becoming extreeeeemeeellllyyy boring as I had encounter few times before. I just can't wait to get to the finish line.. Hahaha..

So, for the first GameReviewandCheat (GRC): Rome : Total War.

Total War is a brand name for some games produced by Sega but developed by Creative Assembly. This brand pick up from previously successful tycoon type of games like Sid Meier's Civilization. In those game you control how are you going to run your country, but total war include warfare as well. It's so cool!

Rome, like all total war game, is a turn-based strategy game plus a real time strategy game. If you're not familiar with gaming terms, turn-based strategy games is games that you make all the decision you need, taking all the time in the world that you need, and then click a button where it says End Turn and the a.i will do the same (except the taking all the time in the world part).

This is only the campaign part where you create army, build buildings, move your army and naval ships, as well as create diplomatic connection with others or sending your spy to spy or assassin to kill someone. If your army meets a.i army, or you're attacking their settlement, there will be a battle page. You can automatically resolve the situation, which most of the time quite accurate. Or, you can play the battle yourself. In battle, the games play through a real time mode. So you have to move your units in the army at the battlefield while the ai doing the same thing. You not need to be fast, though. There's always the pause button where you still command your units in the mode. They'll moved as soon as you unpause them.

This is a good game, though not the best of total war game, but it does not tarnish the good name of the brand. My rating for the game is as follows.
Animation:
Gameplay: 8 - My kind of game. Completely in control of everything. Almost if not for the unfair Senate.
Music: 10 - In my opinion, the best yet in Total War game. LOTR kinda music.
Control: 7 - Could be improved, especially to control unit in a a battlefield.
Continuity: 8 - The mission have a 300 turn but in few years popup of history come out like Archimedes achieve this and that. The filler is kinda nice too, unlike most game.

The cheat I think best is the combination of file editing and in-game cheat. In the data folder of the game folder, there are two type of file that can be edited to great effects. the first one is the export_descr_unit.txt listing all units in the game and their complete details. Change it carefully after creating backup. For example, as I'm playing House Julii, I go to samnite gladiators who are very powerful attacker and increase their number per unit to 60. and then i increase their cost incredibly and put turns required to build them to 90 turns as to avoid a.i create them as well. and then i change their defense to ultimately invulnerable to anything anyone can put on earth. And then I go to the game, and create them using the command "create_unit "settlement name or character name" "roman samnite gladiator (this part follow the type in the file above)" 5 9 3 3. this will create 5 units of the gladiator where I wanted with 9 experience and gold attack and armour immediately and free of charge. Cool right? You also can edit export_descr_character_traits.txt for what it says on the bin."

berlagak ciot!!

dis is sum1 i encounter d other day. since i was in d religious kinda mud. . . so......

"... (in the) passing of Almarhum Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Jaafar Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman.(,) May God bless his soul.

Picking up where we left off, the last category of these people that I do not admire is those who spread Islam, but go on bragging on it. This is the reason I was writing these 2 pieces in the first place actually. This is a story about someone with a certain name of Syaari and a blogspot with a certain rijal and number 82 on it. I come across his site when I thought he is the husband of a friend of mine. Anyways, this fella, wrote on his site in the clearest way possible stuff telling people he is the best student in UPSR, school's hope for PMR, Dean's list for the first and second year (only?) in UIAM and blah blah blah. He even go on calling himself a leader. Here, let me quote him:

* About Me:

Ketua Pengawas & Tokoh Murid SRK Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz, KL (UPSR)(1993),
Pelajar Terbaik PMR SMK Tumpat, K'tan (1996),
Setiausaha Lembaga Ketua Pelajar dan Badan Dakwah Rohani (BADAR) Kolej Islam Sultan Alam Shah, Klang.(2000)
Pelajar Terbaik Diploma Syariah Islamiah MADIWA.(2001)
Pemidato Terbaik Pertandingan Pidato Mahasiswa Al-Azhar Tanta, Mesir (2002),
Penerima Anugerah Dekan tahun 1 dan 2 Jurusan Bahasa Arab UIAM (2004).

See what I mean? Who would do that?? Apparently this phenomenon is not uncommon. Ask anyone with a background from religious school like SMAKL, KISAS, SMAK Labu and Kajang and such, there will be at least one person they know who seems better than anyone else in religious and brag more too about it. I know a guy, called simple the Sheikh in my school. He's from a certain Maahad in the North. His transfer to my school is still clouded in mystery. My school administration wouldn't let others know why since he apparently the good guy while my dismissal from my previous school for a series of shameful act is widely announced by them since I am the bad guy. Haha.
Sure, these people made good politicians, being a leader and all, but do not go bragging on what you do for Islam. Hell, even small insignificant snails praises to Allah but never, ever, gonna tell and go bragging about it.

Well, I'm leaving in a few hours. Wish me luck. It will be very painful to see 2 dead love ones in just a year period. Well, I'm very lucky for having my partner. Maybe the karma for that is I will not be lucky for everything else. Still, I would choose her over anything. Ciow.
Assalam."

y blogger should be stop?

cuz to stop me!! hahaha.. anyways, dis is something i wrote some days back.. kinda boring, but dis is a blog anyway so..

"First of. Now, I don't mind people who go everywhere to dakwah about Islam. I admire them. Really, really do. I couldn't reach that kind of strengh to protect my religion. However, there are certain people in this group that I could not say I admire as the rest of them.
One category, the worst kind for me, and those kind of people who go around the globe to spread Syahadah but at the same time ignore the most important thing in the world, their own family.
I'm experienced in this kind of people. My own uncle is one of them. Going to Africa, India, Indonesia, to study and spread Islam. Very noble. And at the same time left my aunt on her own without enough money to support his own family. Lucky for them she has a good hand with cooking and has a restaurant. Still, it's not only money and food on the table that matters in a marriage, right? She would came to my late mother and cried. Pity her. After a good deal of tongue lashing from my father which is his big brother, he somewhat improved. Only went to unknown places in Malaysia for a few days but kept in touch with my aunt. Good.
The second category is those who people look to for advices on Islam but they themselves could not understand Islam's teaching fully. There are ustazs who would scream loudly in hatred towards American and Jews and others. Some scolded others who learning the ways of other religion in order to really understand Islam as rubbish. And we know stories of parts of the world especially in Africa where Islam are used as a reason for husbands to hurt their wives and daughters like hitting them when they do not obey them or look at men. Of course, those who chose to killed indiscriminately around the world like 9/11, Madrid bombing, Bali and such (I know not everyone of those killings are made by Muslims. Those are just examples.) are not an Islamic ways at all. Whoever knows how many Muslims killed in their so-called Jihad. Of course they will called Muslims that were killed as syuhada'. I believe in education and knowledge as a weapon to risen Islam. However this view of mine are not shared with many of my Muslims relatives around the world.
The third category is the obvious thorn. Those who spread the world of false Islam like Qadiani, Muhammadiah, Wahabi and such.

(Tiryaq al-Qulub 69 RK 15/197, Haqiqah al-Wahyi 255, RK 22/267).

Quoted from here. Read here for more. How dare these people made Allah The ALMIGHTY equal as weak human? For real, how can you think that Allah would sign documents and papers like human do? He in His All-Knowing do not have to put his word on paper and signed it to "verify" it. SubhanaAllah. And to think that Allah, Yang Maha Berkuasa would be mad and pushed away someone's else (who somehow would be able to interrupt their prophet "discussion with Him) pen and drop ink on their clothes. Astaghfirullah al-Azim. I, in my very dirty soul, tremble and almost cried upon reading this. If I was alone I would have. And what our goverment do about this? NOTHING!! IT IS SO MADDENING!
